I'm a writer and editor who lives in Berkeley, California. Currently I am a senior writer for The Boston Consulting Group. I've written and worked for major magazines and newspapers, and more recently have developed a business that helps companies, individuals, and nonprofits say what they want to say in articles, case studies, and books. I have too many degrees for my own good — a strange (but, to me, logical) combination of business, journalism, and literature.

Although you'd never know it from my accent, I was born and raised in Texas. In my spare time, I sing with a few professional early-music choral groups and love to hike, travel, and learn about wine.
